15 years, 3 months.  Looks like an NI AE just trying to get his forum post quota.

Really NI?  Really?  I guess some people have different goals in mind when it comes to what the forum should be used for.

I don't think this person is an AE.  If is a new person I don't know, I will personally call them a dum-dum for you guys tomorrow.

There isn't a quota that we have to meet for our job and most people are pretty happy to not interact on our forums.  There are probably only 2 AEs in the department currently that enjoy posting on the forums.  You can tell that the person is an AE because there profile name will usually be a pun/joke of their real name and we generally try to have our first name in the signature so we don't have to spam a bunch of people to figure out who posted to what.  I know Jacobson isn't a joke/pun but I couldn't think of anything for Matt Jacobson (suggestions welcome).

But seriously, 15 years?!  I can only imagine as Thomas sits in front of his computer, confused as his indicator keeps flickering.  Some people say that he is still waiting to this very day.

My first thought was to run the name through an anagram generator; "Banjo Tomcats" was at the top of the list.

I'm really bad at these but how about JacobAndSon, or SonOfJacobAndSon.  If your name was Jackson it probably would have been easier, any chance you can change your last name.

I mean, how good of a username would it be?  That is a big part of the cost-benefit analysis of the name change.

Also, the mystery has been solved.

Intern.  I didn't call them a dum-dum for HR reasons but I did think it in their general direction.

Well, Jacob had 12 sons, so you certainly have some source material to work with...

You could also try something that sounds similar, but may or may not have the same meaning, such as Jacob_San. In the bible, the name Jacob comes from the word "heel" or "follow", so you could try something around that.

+1 for Jacob_San, especially if you are a fan of Japanese culture.

White male from Connecticut.  It's a good one but I'm not sure if I could pull it off.

Edit: Polish heritage as well
