New stuff is fun, but I still love the classic hits.

Okay bringing this one back to life. In addition to multiple posts from the same user replying to themselves, I also hate it when really old threads are resurected. You see a conversation happening 10 years ago, and then someone replies asking a new question. If the reply is related I don't mind, I mean if someone said hey here is this bug then 10 years later someone replies with the fact that the bug is still there, then I appreciate it.
Curious on the record for this. Today I saw an 11 year 7 month gap in posts. Do I hear 12?

Well, in another 12 years I will have my VI that can predict next weeks winning powerball number with 100% accuracy.
I will be happy to post it in that thread 😄

When I saw your reply in that thread Christian, I though you were having a senior moment. 🙂

Does it still count as cheating when it fails?
I guess I should have more clearly defined what was irksome about the posts I find. If a post is made, many years after the last post, by a beginner user, in an attempt to hijack the thread for their own purpose, usually only loosly related to the orignal topic.
