Hello everyone,
I am currently learning machine vision using LabVIEW and NI Vision Development Module. As part of my learning process, I developed a basic image processing application using an Event-Driven State Machine architecture.
The application includes:
- Image acquisition from a camera
- Saving captured images to the system
- Reading previously saved images
- AVI video recording functionality
- Event-based user interaction for better modularity and responsiveness
The goal of this project was to understand how event-driven architecture can be integrated with basic machine vision operations in LabVIEW for scalable and organized application development.
Through this task, I gained practical exposure to:
- Image acquisition concepts
- File handling in machine vision applications
- AVI recording methods
- State machine-based application design
- Event handling in LabVIEW
I am continuing to explore more advanced vision applications and would appreciate any suggestions or best practices from the community.
