Er, no I must confess.  Does this work with the dinosaur that is 6.1?

Methinks likely not.

I cut-n-pasted that line from my LV 6.1 ini file.

It gives you another "right click" option

Ben,

thanks for the extra info.  Tried it, doesn't change anything for me.  Perhaps I need to combine it with other INI file settings.  Up until now I had a fairly pristine INI file.....

Shane.

National Instruments LabVIEW 8.20 continues to make common tasks easier with Express technologies and wizards that automate much of your programming work. Take advantage of powerful features for developing measurement applications and open connectivity tools to integrate external applications and services. (National Instruments)

Thats what I found in the EPN newsletter issue August 4th, 2006

When I followed the link I get to the upgrade advisor that states 8.20 or prior 8.20 😉

Now it gets more mysterious:

In this thread

LV8.1 is mentioned.

Well, the cat is somwhat out of the bag if you attend NI-WEEK 😄

The timeline in page 11 of the program (=page 9 on the posted online version) shows 2006 as "NI Introduces LabVIEW 8.20 20th Anniversary Edition".  Something that has been carefully airbrushed out of the online version above. 😄
