Has anyone received their gift from NI for being active in the forums?

So when it is wet, it is more deadly???   It is like a sponge I take it...Maybe more like a water balloon... if you take it outside today in PA it might be like a big ice cube!!!

Got mine, guess the they had to get new sled dogs to get to my place. Don't think I'll get it wet, it is cold here this morning too (near 0 F), earlier than usual this year. There is a lake next to my home office (shown in the picture back in the "where in the world is tst?" thread, and it has begun to freeze, about a month early. If it warms in the next few days it probably won't, but there is ice out about 100' (33m) this morning.

I got the plaque too, but it's not as fun to talk about as the star.  (Then again, judging by what I've seen here, maybe it is).Smiley Very Happy

Putnam,

Maybe these pictures will help you feel warmer.

They were downloaded from

I spent a good part of my youth in Duluth.

But shouldn't we get five stars ? 🙂

My wife wants to use it with her piano students!

I do like your "real stars" PJM.

So, do you think using them in my signature is too tacky?

Ben,

Your signature sure stand out like that. Smiley Happy

You might want to change the font size of the "LabVIEW champion" text and center it vertically so it will be more in line with the "real" stars.

Two NI packages were waiting for me when I came back from overseas. One was the new NI catalog...

The other was the gift for forum participation: Got the spongy star, the acrylic plaque, and a certificate signed by my heroes at NI :).

Very thoughtful! All will be kept as personal treasures. Thanks!!! 😄
