The star is also fun to throw at the wall and catch when it bounces back, it has a propensity to bounce back at irregular angles while spinning

Not very good as a "ninja throwing start", unless it is properly moistened and then chilled. Doesn't slide very well on ice or snow, at least in my preliminary experiments (well since I don't have time at the moment to drive to a ski hill what else am I going to do with the snow?).

With the sliding on ice and snow in mind, I noticed it cost NI over $3 to ship me my gift... (to the Great White North)  which I think is a very nice gesture, since I haven't paid a cent for LabVIEW...  personally anyways.  All company paid for.  It's nice to be rewarded for help (even though it seems like I haven't helped too many people at all!).

We truly appreciate what everyone does for NI here in the forums. 

It took a team of several people to make this project happen, not just me!  From graphic design, to assembling the acrylic plaques, to shipping all these "tokens of appreciation" our team was dedicated to recognizing our community leaders.

It showed up today. I guess that Canada is further away than Europe.

Just one little envelope with a star in it.  Nothing else. I guess that you have to have more free time to cruise the message boards than I get.

I'll just keep plugging away as I can steal a minute or two here and there.
