Bonjour CC,

This was interesting because of how close to home this info is.

Dr. Jeremy Levy was my first G-Daddy and was the person that forced me to use LV instead of C on a project I developed for him.

He and I split up about 10 years ago when I decided to take the plunge big time into LV and he continued with his research. Well he has been busy and has apparently put Moore's Law back on schedule! He has figured out how to use thin-films to draw transistors that are on the atomic scale and calls them SketchFET.

You can read about his finding here and here with many more hits available if you Google him.

BTW: When I ws working with him, ALL of his research was done using LabVIEW!

Thanks SS.

I still have a collection of audio cassettes of his Quantum Mechanics II course that I have promised myself I would sit through again some day. Who knows, if I wait long enough they may rate up there with the Richard Fineman (sp?) Lectures. Smiley Very Happy

Ben,

You'll have to digitize the lectures.... and maybe share with some of your friends..  😉

After getting new versions of all of the Dungeons and Dragons Manuals from a friend my wife somhow started describing her experience when she came to NI-Week with me. She thought is was very entertaining calling it Geek-Week. We sat at a window table for dinner and she would stop and ask "What about them?" as a group walked past and I would reply "Yep that is ... and ..." But I digress!

When hearing her description her frind replied;

"Wow! That sounds like the center of the Dork Forest."
