Title: Eye Camera
It's an eye-controlled camera, which is based on NI myDAQ and Labview.

People can use it to take photos just by winking their eyes, which is very convenient, portable and hidden. It also can be used for the disabled who can not use their hands but can use their eyes to control something.
We use an infrared emission diode to emit infrared signals and use an infrared receiver diode to receive the infrared signals that reflected from the eyeball, and then use myDAQ to acquire this two different voltage value from the control circuit to LabVIEW and finally programme it to control the camera.
NI myDAQ is a low-cost data acquisition device that gives students the ability to measure and analyze live signals anywhere. It's compact and portable so students can extend hands-on learning outside of the lab environment using industry-standard tools and methods. We use its digital input ports to acquire voltage values, which can transfer them into digital signals directly. It's really convenient and easy to operate.
LabVIEW is a highly productive development enviroment that we can use for graphical programming and unprecedented hardware integration to rapidly design and deploy measurement and control system. Its intuitive graphical programming make it easy to learn and use. We use myDAQ Assistant to acquire the different voltage values of opening and closing eyes and deal with the data in the state machine. We use its vision module to control usb camera. LabVIEW helps us combine these two steps perfectly which make our eyes to control the camera.

They are both teaching wireless telecommunications courses in BUPT. LIU also teaches LabVIEW programming course. They are not only our teachers, but also our friends. They introduced diverse NI products to us and encourage us to make something useful and funny by them. They are best teachers we've met in this university.
