myDAQ analogue voltage measurement incorrect

Solved!
Go to solution

I am trying to read an analog signal from a sensor using the myDAQ. I could only manage to pick up a very faint signal. I then plug it to a signal generator, the 5V signal only reads as 88mV on the myDAQ. Has the DAQ gone bad? Thanks for any help.

Hello,

As a test could you please connect the AI terminal to the +5V terminal and see the result (and nothing elce)?

Otherwise, I recommend you open an RMA request.

It was the poor soldering to the BNC connector
