How can I install just selected features( like just nidaq drivers) for NI-DAQ 693 via command line silently

I am trying to create installation program for my application which uses NI-DAQ drivers.

I want to include the installation of NI DAQ drivers with my program. I know that you can use setup.exe from command line. But for version 6.9.3 is there a way I can specify along with setup.exe , just the features I want to install.

I would really appreciate a prompt reply.

Thanks.

Hello Arti,

Please see this link which explains how to do a silent installation of NI-DAQmx: http://digital.ni.com/public.nsf/websearch/CBDAA88478F7179C86256E36001BE050?OpenDocument

Also, see that document attached below for instructions on how to do a silent installation of NI-DAQ 6.9.x.

Dear Bill,

Thank you for taking out time to respond to my question. unfortunately it still doesn't solve my problem.

the link you sent talks about NI-DAQ 7.2 and I am working with ni-daq 6.9.3 and I am not sure how to create that specific file. I would really appreciate if you can direct me on how to create it. as that perticuler file contains version no for various other components and I am not sure what there counterpart would be for 6.9.3.

Text file which you sent me, again is for 6.9.0 as it talks about nidaq.exe with ADDLocaL option, and a cabs folder, which are all not present in 6.9.3.

I would really appreciate you helping me out on this issue.

Thanks,
Arti

Well thats all the info I had gathered from NI's website already.. This DOES NOT apply to me.
as ni-daq 6.9.3 has no nidaq.exe file, it has a setup.exe which does not support the commandline parameters for slient installation of selected feature.

I would really appreciate someone looking into this problem seriously.

Thanks,
Arti
