nidaq32.dll not found windows 7

I am getting the error nidaq32.dll not found.

I see the dll but not able to register it either.

Is this the issue with the Windows 7 compatability?

Are you using Traditional DAQ? The following KB might be relevant to you:

Can you provide steps to reproduce the problem?

What are you doing to "register" the dll?

We have a VB6 project that uses the nidaq32.bas module and it was working fine on Windows XP machine.

The National Instruments setup we have used on Windows XP machine is NI-DAQ/TDAQ750 and it works perfect.

Last month we were migrated to Windows 7 and NI-DAQ/TDAQ750 installer no longer works as it says only compatible with windows 98/xp/vista.

Then we have used the setup of NI-DAQmx/9.7.0 as instructed by National Instruments support over the phone and thats when the VB6 application has started throwing the nidaq32.dll is not found. Let me know if you need furthur details like names of the components being used in VB6 code etc.

Can you clarify what you mean by TDAQ750? This does not show up on any searches. Are you refering to Traditional NI-DAQ 7.5?

Have you tried to follow the KB I provided previously? Please let me know if it applies to you.

Yes. i mean traditional NIDAQ 7.5.
I tried to install the NIDAQ 7.5 beta from the link you posted but I am unable to install it on Windows 7 64 bit.

What exactly happened that prevented you from installing it?

Did you get some error messages? If so, please provide screen shots whenever possible.

Yes. The error message says like not exactly "This product version can be installed only on windows 2000/XP".

I just installed this on Windows 7. Are you sure you selected NI-DAQmx 7.5 (beta)?

Yes sir, I am sure. You mentioned Win7, Is it 32bit or 64bit?

Mine was 64bit.
