Read LCD Sign

Hello everyone

Im doing an LCD OCR with the Vision Kit.

I mannualy set the ROI because im not able to force a calibration Image (all Segments ON) at the Instrument. 

Now I am dealing with the following problems:

- How do I set the ROI for proper Sign (negative numbers) recognition?

- What if the Instrument supresses the leading Zeros? It reads somthing what isnt there -> false Reading

Global Rectangle is shown in picture 2

I am currently using the Luminescence Plane of my Picture. I take the pictures using a USB Webcam. Threshold Value is currently 27 but I couldnt solve the problem by playing around with the threshold.
