Computer specifications for Machine vision application

Hello everybody,
i want to develop a machine vision application using Vision development module and CVI which enable me the: 
-Identification of parts (OCR/barcode/data matrix)
-Dimensional inspection of the parts
-Détection des Défauts
-Presence and Color Inspection of Components
-Verification of homogeneity

my question is :
Does a Core2Duo processor ,4Go RAM PC allow me to do the trick ? Knowing that this application is based on many geometric matching algorithm with its differents match modes and many other technics

Sounds like an excellent application. We're not computer peripheral experts here, but I can share the minimum requirements for the Vision Development Module and LabWindows/CVI.

If your computer meets these requirements, you should be just fine! The next step will be to make sure your hardware is compatible with the computer you're using - if you need help selecting hardware, you should consider calling in to the NI Sales Engineers: (877) 387-0015
