Visual trending problem

When I'm in run or edit mode I can not see continous data read out on the trend chart. I have a V-memory I'm writing data to the PLC and then reading it back via the Trend it only shows once when I make a change "i.e." 30 to 50, it will show a line from 30 to 50 and no more. until I make another change.

What's your Lookout's version?

What's the value you set for "trend width" and "sample interval"?

If you create a new process, just add a pot on it and a Trend to trace the pot's value, does it work properly?

Hay Ryan,

My Lookout Ver. 4.5.1 (build 19). I'm working on my application now and what I had found that I need to V7765 in the PLC Dirver "LogicDirect" database under edit database.

Should I be required to do this?

It works, but should I upgrade my software? I ony had it about 1 to 2 months. I got it via Automation direct. But now they said it's not supported because it's 3 to 5 ver. behind???

I've used Iconics, Wounderware, Intellution, and GE Cemplicity. 

I like the cost of this package for 500 pts compared to the above items. I hope I can work up to hiher version.

Yes, 4.5.1 is 3 or more version behind. The current one is 6.0.2.

NI doesn't officially support 4.5.1 anymore. If you want to know how to upgade or buy higher version, please contact NI.

But it doesn't mean you cannot use 4.5.1. 

First, I want to confirm that you use Trend, not Hypertrend. When you create the object Trend, you are asked to give values for "Trend width" and "sample interval". So, what's that value in your application? You can find them in the properties of the trend.

Because the trend has nothing to do with the database(hypertrend does), I think the trend object itself has the problem. Can you post a screenshot of the incontinuouse data on trend?
