We recently added ~ 30 tags to our existing Lookout 3.8.13 application and observed noticeable delays in the poll rate. Even though we set the poll rate to 1s (0:01) we observed the actual watchdog pulse timer (Tiway1.C1028) to be on for up to 9s and off for up to 15s. Approximately half of the new tags are polling numeric data from the PLC and the remainder are polling coils. We need to maintain the original poll rate of 1s with the new application. The Lookout application is running on a Dell 8486 computer connected to a CTI 2500-C300 processor. As soon as we load the original application, the poll rate reverts back to approximately 1s on and 1s off.
