Count me as a Lookout devotee! I have sold 4 or 5 licenses over the last year, including V6. I can't imagine working without Lookout!
I got started when a colleague gat a demo floppy from a trade show in '92 ?? (can't remember the exact date) and was blown away by how quickly I was able to communicate with the plc on my bench through a pair of 450 mhz licensed band radios. It took about 5 minutes...
I convinced my company to go with Lookout as their HMI after I built all their remotes (25 or 30 of them)
They had been trying to make Factory Link (Schneider) work, but radio comms is not Factory Link's forte. I mean the word radio isn't even in the manual!
Now they have a huge system based on Lookout and they are not looking back.
Personally, I would rather not see Lookout under the "Other Software" tab on NI's site... It deserves more.
