Dynamic Text Signals

Hi I want to have Dynamic Text in my project as i saw the "Lookout Developer’s Manual" chapter 6 the way to do this is insert Expression and in the yellow field using choose Expression . i select Inert>>Expression and in the yellow field enter this : "choose(Radio1,"On","Off") " but when i change radio1 the Expression doesn't change

Make sure the expression is set as "text", it may default to numeric but should still go 1 "On" to 0 "Off".
