Did you mean:

remove default labview icon

Solved!
Go to solution

Hi,

I built a dll in LabVIEW which is called by a C# application.

When loading windows shows a task in the taskbar with the default labview icon.

This is not wanted.

A solution would be to customize the icon (like possible with executables) or remove the task from the taskbar while the dll is running.

Is this an option?

Thanks

Kim

Careful there, apok.  The OP already knows about changing the icon for an EXE.  They are asking about for a DLL.

This thread looks similar.

Have you tried Resource Hacker?

Hi,

thanks for the tip.

But this isn't a solution for me.

You have to select a bitmap to change the icon.

There is no image available in my dll.

I guess I have to change the icon of the runtime engine, but I can't find this either.

I edited the lvrt.dll and now it is changed.

It will be changed for all applications, not really what I wanted, but good enough,

Thanks
