opcua 2017 BadWriteNotSupported

In fact, I changed the OPC UA Demo example that comes with LV2017 to check the node type of an item generated on LV OPC UA Server... the node type in this case is "BaseDataVariableType". Might this be the problem?

The bug has been fixed on the OPC UA 2017 Toolkit. Please ask local AE/Sales for the patch.

Hi there,

I understand that this is an old post. But I am having exactly the same problem now after upgrading from 2016 to 2020. 

Could you solve your problem with the latest OPC UA Toolkit. I am using the "OPC UA Toolkit 2020 32-bit English" and cannot write ("BAD_WriteNotSupported"). I was wondering if the bug did not get solved in the last years!
