application execution speed on different computers

I have built an executable application of a VI. When running it on another computer it doesn't run at the right speed. It runs at about 1/3 of the intended speed.

The hardware is the same, DAQPAD-6015 (USB interface). The computer that runs it slower is a laptop with more memory and faster procesor than on the stationary one that runs the program faster. I can see in the task manager that it runs on about 5% CPU usage and it has alot of free memory.

The while-loop in the program is using the Wait Until Next ms Multiple function to execute every 20ms.

Any ideas what the problem is? USB related?

How do the graphical cards for each computer compare? How are the preferences for the graphics set up. It might also help to have an idea of what/how the application works, i.e., transfering large amounts of data, processing large amounts, lots of graphics, etc. This can affect the speed in a couple of ways. Obvious if there is a large amount of graphics, or some graphical elements overlap, the graphics card can make a big difference. If you are dealing with larger data sets your virtual memory settings may be important, etc.

I second LV-Pro's comments re: graphics.

Also not all USB ports are created equal. This applies to USB as well. The old ones are good but slower than the new.
