Using Greek Symbols in text objects

Solved!
Go to solution

Hello,

I'm looking for a technique  that allow to insert Greek symbol (e.g. alpha, betta) into text object.

What I've found until now doesn't work in my version 2015.

In most cases the solution is based on calling font interface (ctrl+0).

Indeed, font dialog appears, but there is no symbol map - just font selection, size and features (bold, italic, etc.).

How can I put let say "LAMBDA" symbol in my text object.

Thanks in advance.

Hi Pavel,

How can I put let say "LAMBDA" symbol in my text object.

Select the "Symbol" font (I guess you are using a Windows pc) and type "l"/"L"…

Example:

Hi GerdW,

Thanks,

I forgot to change for "Symbol". It works even more simpler - e.g. for DELTA, I've used Shift+D (once "Symbol" was selected).

Regards

Pavel
