Thanks to NI phone support, and updated DAQ patch, I can now work with all of my old .vi files and projects. Bringing old .vi files from 2008 back to life without having to rebuild the entire file one at a time has saved untold money in man hours and delay in production. Thanks NI! The moral here is simple. Don't be afraid to call support.

I have often quoted an old line...

"Just dial 1-800-Do-MyJob"

In the case of NI it is 1-800-IEEE-488 (1-800-433-3488)

IEEE-488 it the spec for GPIB and reminds us where NI got started.
