Hi,
My company uses Cisco AMP for Endpoint, which slows down
computers. They claim that they can reduce this effect, if they optimize the scan.
To do this, they ask for a 'Recommended Antivirus Exclusions' list, which is normally provided with the software. For example, Microsoft has one for Windows:
Does NI has a similar list? Thanks.

Zoltan

I don't think there is such a list.
I only had to exclude directories when working with FPGA. Compiles used to fail because the antivirus software blocked files while they where being written.
I'd think it should not be needed for normal LV.

Thanks, so that means only the FPGA Bitfiles folder?

Not the bit file folder, the temporary compile folder. IIRC, c:\fpga. And that would only help when you use a local compiler... A compile farm would do this on the remote system.
