I am trying to restart the NI Web Server for connecting to my Compact RIO through MAX and when I try to start the service through the service manager I keep getting error 1067. I searched the web and it said to remove the file .lvws in C:\Windows\SysWOW64\config\systemprofile\Documents\LabVIEW Data\WebServices\Standalone. There is no file there to remove. Anyone know what else I can try. I am running MAX 5.3.2 on a Windows 7 machine.

What version of LabVIEW and NI-RIO are you using? Or do you just have MAX 5.3 installed?

Beginning with the 2012 version of the web server, the lvws files are no longer kept by the server. Instead, you can find the web service files in C:\ProgramData\National Instruments\WebServices\aws, where there is a subdirectory for each deployed web service. If you delete the problematic web service's directory, it will no longer be loaded when the server starts.

I am running LabView 2012 Development on a cRIO 9012.

I don't have an aws directory to remove. Only NI and NI64.

Okay, that means you don't have any web services deployed. Is this the NI System Web Server that won't start? Have you recently installed any updates or patches from National Instruments? Do you know if the server only recently stop working?

Yes to all your questions. NI System Web Server service will not start. Just put in 2012 P2 and 2011 P1. Server was working day before yesterday because I am setting up a new cRIO application with new FPGA modules.

This KB discusses error 1067 and indicates that it's a MAX database corruption error:

Instructions on resetting the MAX database can be found here:

You should see my email with this information as well

I think pspangler is going in the right direction in that they told me that I don't have any web services deployed. It appears that something is crashing the service even when I manually try to start it up. Is there something I should reinstall, and if so, how?

There is a known issue with the LabVIEW 2012 f2 patch which causes the system web server to crash as you are seeing. Can you try performing a repair of LabVIEW 2012?
You can find more information about the patch here: http://digital.ni.com/public.nsf/allkb/72A03F5B8E074C4086257A790051AE7F
