Labview Core 2 Ex. 4.2 Issue

Not sure where I've gone wrong here. Firstly when I open the VI it looks different then the picture supplied, step 1 tells me to right click and change a property node however there's nothing to right click to change.

Did you read the steps correctly?

Did you notice step 2? It clearly says: "modify the block diagram…"! (That explains why the block diagram looks different than is shown in the exercise!)

Correct I read that also however that doesnt really show me what functions I need to add, I havent seen those before. For ex. below it tells you more or less exactly what needs to be done.

You need to add a property node (use Quickdrop!). Then do what bullet item 1 says about linking…

Bullet item 3 also is a property node, while item 4 is an invoke node

To be fair, I tripped over my tongue the first time an exercise referred to stuff I did in the exercise before.  I didn't realize it was a work in progress.
