I have not got my 2009 update yet. And I am somewhat curious. Does everybody get the Labview Platform DVD set, or is this only for the NI Developer Suite costumers. Which I do not am![]()

We got both. The Dev Suite came first, though. I think the platform DVD came near the end of last week.

My company has two licenses for the profession version. One set came in the mail Friday... still waiting for the other set.

If you have an active MSP (or is that SSP now?) you will receive the DVD. Of course you can install anything on there but all the parts your license do not cover will be in a 30 day evalution mode only.

That is exactly why they are there. I have a buddy that used to do a stand-up comedy routine based on how software vendors are like drug dealers.

The first samples are free.
After you are hooked, then you will pay. ![]()

But I see that some people in this forum use old Labview versions, so not all people get hooked 😉

Well, not unconditionally ![]()
I have all versions from 5.1 to 8.6 installed (need to reinstall the 8.6 before I will attempt to do the 2009 install) and work in 7.1.1, 8.2.1, 8.5.1 and 8.6.1.
