Citadel data Corruption problem

I am using Labview DSC 6.1 and Windows 2000 OS.
My application continueously monitors the energy meters and log data into citadel database. There are on average 2000 tags polled every 30 seconds. I am getting Citadel corruption problem very frequently ( every 20-25 days). Once the data base is corrupted I am not able view in historical data viewer/ Max explorer or query through ODBC.
Also archive vi also does not work on that data and only option is to manually delete that data using windows explorer. As we are product based company we are selling lot of copies and it is difficult to support if database is not reliable.
Can anyone tell me the ways/tip to minimise the database corruption possibilites. I had tried to keep the data for only 15 days in Days to keep historical files in Tag confiuration editor but that does not help as it does not remove data automatically. I had increased the polling time to 60 seconds but this also does not helped
I am having very bad time explaining such frequent corruption to my customers as we pay big license fee for Labview DSC Runtime and it works so badly.I would be open to upgrade my application to DSC 7.1 if it is more stable. If situation does not improve then I would be force to migrate my application to some other SCADA package like wonderware ,Cimplicity which seems to will be big loss for me as I would be required to learn and develop my application again and lossing time to market opportunity.

Hello,

LabVIEW DSC 6.0 and 6.1 uses Citadel 4 which is not very stable. That is why you would like to upgrade to Citadel 5 which comes with LabVIEW DSC 7.1. The characteristic of Citadel 5 is that is more robust and it is not very likely to be corrupted.
In the mean time, LabVIEW DSC 6.0 has several patches. Make sure that you have applied them.
Hope this helps

Here is the Link most important one.

Ricardo,
If Uttam is using LVDSC v6.1, would not the most important patch be: LabVIEW Datalogging and Supervisory Control Module Version 6.1 for Windows 2000/95/98/ME/NT/XP--Fixes?

Hey Donald,

My mistake, you are right, I added the wrong link. Thank you for noticing that.
Yes, the most important fix is the link you gave him.

I had already updated the patches mentioned.

As you said Labview 7.1 and citadel 5 is more robust. As my application is already developed in Labview PDS /DSC 6.1 and citadel 4.0 with patches. Are you aware of the ugrade issues involved. What changes I would need to do in my code. As when I moved my application from DSC 6.0 to DSC 6.1 I had faced some upgrade issues like DLL interface was changed etc.
If you can send me any link related to upgrade issues it will be helpful.
