LIFA has long since been deprecated and replaced by LINX

Here's a tutorial to get you going. Getting Started with LINX
In this tutorial we'll install LINX, setup a new LINX device and run our first example

LINX can be quite a bit easier to use than LIFA ^

but still have a small question; it takes few seconds to start reding the signal from the potentiometer at the begining then when it starts reading it continues well, is that normal or there is something wrong!?
