A trigger in labview

Solved!
Go to solution

I claim to be a labview neophyte. My situation is as follows: I measure the signal coming from a shift sensor that is read from my control unit; When the signal curve decreases (the sense of motion is reversed) I want to send (through the same control unit) a trigger signal that opens a pneumatic servo valve. Is it possible to do these operations using labview? Thank you.

Spoiler
You should clarify which DAQ hardware you are using to get more detailed answers…

Thank you very much GerdW for replying. I don't know the hardware DAQ yet. When I will know it I will write back here. I wanted only to know if POTENTIALLY this was possible using labview.

Best wishes,

Pietro.
