Everyone loves the 'make space' feature on the block diagram when you press Ctl+{click&drag}.
Works great, right?
What about when you want to ensure that you only make space in 1 direction? (horizontal or vertical)
#FAIL
Wouldn't it be great if LabVIEW utilized Ctl+Shift+{click&drag} to ensure that we only make space in one direction instead of needing to play the, make the selection line invisible game

Ideally it could be elegant enough to visualize that you're only growing in one direction w/ the same 1px selection line.
but for the sake of simplicity it could still visualize as it does now w/ a full rectangle of selection, just only grow in the direction of maximum movement.
Because to be honest, every time that I only want to grow in 1 direction, I naturally press shift as well, hoping, just hoping that LabVIEW will read my mind and bend to my will in 1 direction.
