Sounds like a good add-on\(third party) toolkit to me.

Making\having such a toolkit is a good idea. But there are tons of protocols, including them all in LabVIEW would be a terrible idea, AFAIC.

It's a matter of time someone makes a tool for this, if there is indeed a demand for it (and if it's not out there already). The wiki is only in German, so this protocol might be very locally relevant.
