Spell Check Suggestion

Molly,

I frequently forget to press the Check Spelling button and will edit my posts to spell-check them. Can a user preference be added that for "Check Spelling On Submit?". This would allow me (or anyone else) to have the spell check automatically triggered when they submit, and if they don't want it, they simply leave it disabled in their profile.

Thanks,
Aaron

Great suggestion Aaron,

Now if we could figure out why the spell check doesn't work correctly in FireFox.

I agree 100% that this is a great suggestion. I will recommend it to the forum developers.

But just before they add that, make sure the attachments do not get deleted as a result of the spell checking.

Ben -

This isn't something you see happening today, right? I know attachments get dropped when you preview the message, but are you having trouble with attachments and the current spell checker or are you just making sure we test this use case?

Thanks!

Sorry, this went into the wrong thread;)

Another selection for the 'Options' menu for message that would forward the message to NI Support. This could be used if a thread has gone on for a while and you still haven't got the sollution you need.

It seems that the suppport folks don't always look at threads that have already had several replies. I'm sure they have a lot to do without monitoring every thread on the board, but sometimes one needs to brought to their attention.

I think this would be a better sollution than starting a new thread because the answer would end up in the opiginal thread instead of a new one where it may be missed by some one searching for an answer.

No it is not happening today.

I lost a posting sometime in the past because I speel checked or previewed or something.

As of that moment I gave up spell checking.
