NO random log-outs all day today.
Edit:
Posted too soon. Just got logged out.
Still ridiculously slow!
It takes SOOOOOOO long to update the LV main page that I am tending away from clicking into threads and then doing a "back". It is much faster to right-click Open in new window to look at what is happening in a thread.
The same problem happens with The Breakpoint and The Champions main page.
Often seeing the message at the bottom of the screen reading;
NI.com is not responding due to a long running script.

Thanks for confirming. We're still investigating the log-out issue.
As for the script error seen in Internet Explorer, is it possible your browser is blocking a script? I have not been able to reproduce this issue.

If it was blocking a script, would just waiting for a minute or so for that spike in the CPU and memory somehow allow a blocked script to run?
That message eventually clears if I wait for the CPU load to drop-off.
It just looks like a very long running script.
Is there a setting somewhere that maybe I have set for showing a bunch of threads and you are using a default that only shows a small number of threads?
Like I said it hits me on the main pages LV, BreakPoint and that other secret forum that suffers from that LOOOOONGGGGGG running script.

Found something that looked like the number of threads shown that was set at 200.
Changed it to 100 and the delay appears to be cut in half.
Edit:
Still taking 90 seconds to get at LV general. So that change of settings did not make the difference I had hoped for.
I also show tags if that makes a difference.

I will update my observations.
Reducing the number of threads shown from 200 to 100 did make a difference a lot of the time. Instead of 90 seconds to load the LV main page at let me start to scroll down it is now running about 35 seconds.
There are still times however when it runs of for 90 seconds gobbling up most of the CPU. During the "90 second load" events, the memory is thrashing wildly with big spikes in the memory used and then released repeatedly. See that screen shot I shared previously to see the thrashing.

so no random logout today (yet!)
Perfomance is half decent with the setting of 50 BUT, that number of "200" was a carry over from the old days and believe it or not, often drives to a second page to check on activity on old posts for example.
So Lithium has done something to make the web-site very CPU demanding....

We're still not able to reproduce any issues such as what you are describing, Ben. Have you tried another web browser? I know you stated earlier that you prefer IE, but it could be worth testing in another browser.
As for the log-out issue, when this is occurring, do you have more than one browser tab open for the site?

Increment that random log-out count. It just happened to me twice in short order.
I only had one window open and was reading the posts on LV thread and returning to the LV page, log-out.
Logged in, came to the Feedback forum and could see I had read all in this thread (indicating I was logged by the way). Opened this thread to post the random log-out and again was logged out.

Thanks for the info. We have passed this along to help with the investigation.

I happened again.
This time I saw that Putnam replied to my post in the breakpoint... everthing else thread. So I clicked that link and went to that page to see what Putnam wrote.
He corrected my math so I was giving him a Kudo and got a "authentication error". Scrolled to the top of the page to find I had been logged out.
