Yes and my reply was a poor attempt to convince myself that I really don't want to go. I do fall into the trap of reading others excitement about the event and get swept away with the idea of going and meeting some of the people that have helped me out. So there is a part of me that wants to attend. But because I am not management and I have piss-poor interpersonal skills (aside from LabVIEW and my Grandaughter, I am only interested in talking about all of those subjects we are NOT supposed to discuss) the trip serves no buisness purpose. When asked I have always insisted that my rookies attend instead of me.
But after I retire, if the forums are still part of my life, my wife and I plan to climb into a Winebago and tour the country and NI-Week will be part of the trip.
So as I said previously please have fun, buy each other a drink and say something politically incorrect for me.
