If any of you catch me giving out Kudos, please whack me with an ugly stick.
Ben
Kudos?
What's that?

Go here and see below the image gallery where there are two sections Recent Kudos From and Recent Kudos To.
PS Hey am just kidding and don't take it seriously. This is not meant for offence.

Thanks for being cheeky
Off-course yes. Kudos gives you motivation to perform better in this competitive world.
One suggestion - We can remove kudos from special interest boards and Idea Exchange boards. In idea exchange boards instead of removing kudos we can replace it with polling such as like/dislike. The more votes for like needs to be implemented very soon.
This will maintain the forum in a balanced manner.
Again this is my small thought.

If something like this considered then also it should be something like you like it click here else comment. No negative ranking\disliking. That has been long gone with the stars......

Ben I hope you are not serious. Are you?
PS MUKS Where were you without replying to this thread?
Self denial is good exercise for me, just like fasting. I am finding this harder than I thought event though I should know better (paraphrasing Mark Twain re: smoking "Quiting is is easy, I have done it thousands of times." I am passed the temptation to create a new account and cheat.
I am currently thinking that I'll try to go a month to break the habit.
I have to trust all of the rest of you to pass out the Kudos to each other. Although we want to look at Kudos as a measurement of technical expertise, they are really more of a "smile". Imagine how boring it would be to have to show up at the same place and nobody ever smiles.
So please share those smiles with each other while I am on the wagon.

- sigh - 😞
So you're not handing kudos for a month.. Are you also saying that you are not receiving kudos during the same time period.. 😉

Have you ever seen the Rogers and Hamerstien Musical "Oklahoma!"? One of the supporting characters was "Ado Annie". Her song was "I Can't Say No". I'd love to keep handing them out but I have been scewing the numbers, frustrating those that take them more seriously than me and generally causing chaos in what could be an effective measurement system.
Hell, I even pondered going back and revoking all of my Kudos but dismissed it.
No, ... clean slate moving forward.
I do appologize to all of those that would have earned some. If I make it through the month I'll regroup.
Ben
PS in 27 minutes I will have gone a full buisness day clean.

Ben, your Kudos work like coffee for me. But by the way, do you remember Patrik showing up at the party.
