Darwin wrong?

This thread was inspired by two facts

  • I never put a frog in my sister's bed
  • I could have done so tonight

Unfortunately I did ask my sister for her opinion.   The suggestion was that placing a frog in her bed might invite a darwinian selection.   

 

Hold it, I have 9 grandchildren! She and our sister have not procreated at all!  So, is it possible that I AM FUNNY, and that having a good sense of humor is a healthy adaption?

 

Can anyone suggest further research approaches?

"Dad jokes" are evolutionary proof that humor is advantageous. Good humor isn’t required.

placing the frog in someone's bed sounds much better than to eat that frog...
