I just thought I'd drop a note that 3 of the 5 people in our office who took the CLD exam passed. Myself included. 🙂 The other 2 people were close.

We recently (Jan of this year) managed to bump our CLA count to 6 one of which is another contributor here on the forums, Mellowbuck .

It feels great to have the certifications behind us.

Of course I helped with the preparations. I was the only one taking it this time who had been through the process before.

It took a lot of convincing to get me to try again as well. After I read the comments on my code the last time, my thoughts were "____ them, they want things that aren't even in the style guide. I won't be doing that again." This time as well, even though I passed, I look at the comments and think, "That would double the amount of processing and double the code size."

I think half of this test is figuring out what you can actually get done in 4 hours.
