AI Generated Images with Stable Diffusion

I love how at first glance it looks completely normal and then if you try to look at the details, it's all Penrose stairs (especially those folders on the right).

Yeah it's like oh that's an Apple computer...sorta.  That's a pretty strange keyboard.  My arms are also a bit weird too.  I tried having the computer generate new arms, but most of the time it made me an amputee so I left it at this.

Now that you mention it, the keyboard does look like a melted bar of chocolate and your left arm looks like it's on backwards 😄

Oh boy the saga continues.  So we aren't just building images with text for AI, but AI can also generate written text given simple prompts too.  So naturally someone asked the AI to generate text stating that AI generated art isn't real art.

Not Real Art.jpg

Which then lead into someone asking an AI to generate text explaining why AI art is better.

Real Art.jpg

This stuff is really cool.  Here is a podcast talking about it.  They do a bunch of examples of generating real usable code.

Slightly off topic, but ChatGPT might interest you:

ChatGPT is Frighteningly Good - YouTube

Freaky, really... Esp. the Python examples come close to home. Although I haven't seen LabVIEW examples, apparently the algorithm deals with every that can be broken down in tree structures .

To the (rational) me, magic is the opposite of reality, so if it's reality it can't be magic. It's fun to see in action either way.

It is really impressive though:https://youtu.be/0A8ljAkdFtg?t=973

The Ai is asked to respond like a linux command line. And it does. It's asked to create a file, joke.txt and fill it with a joke. Ls lists the file, and opening the file shows the joke. A bit further on it's asked to create a docker and to run Python in it... And it does.

The (rational) me... It wasn't a quote, there's no source nor reason.

Magic is a bit like the term 'supernatural'. Supernatural can't exist, because if it did, it's natural simply because it exist. If magic is possible, it's not magical simply  because it is possible.

A lot of stuff we find normal now would have been considered magic at the time it didn't exist, but only because it didn't exist back then.

The word "technology" means "magic". It's basically anything that's really cool that you don't know how it works. And if it breaks, you have to buy a new one.

I use that quote all the time, but no one gets the reference.
