Opc server 2011 V5.5 in Lookout 6.6

Solved!
Go to solution

Hello,

I am using Lookout 6.6 with the OPC-Server 2011 V5.5.

The NI-Server is reachable via Lookout and via the integrated OPC-Quick-Client. But if I am using an other Client such as the OPC Data-Spy or PROFILAB,

the server is not reachable, the server name is displayed in the list, but can not be accessed. Other installed OPC-Servers on my PC can be accessed by every client. Do I need to have a special licence for the NI OPC Server that came with the Lookout 6.6 Software Package? I am using Windows 7 Home 32bit.

Thank you for any advice

Greetings

Claude

Mike is right. We don't allow other OPC client connecting to NI OPC Server.

Hello,

Thanks for the reply, I found now the information to in the Licence Manager.

It is a pity Smiley Sad, but I have to accept.

(Even my Labview 2009 Educational Version can not connect)

Greetings
