Define events triggered by XControls

I think it would enhance the usability of XControls if it is possible to define events that an XControl can generate and that can be statically linked to just like other control type-specific events.

Earlier discussions on this topic has been done on LAVA and LAVA.

Agreed, having to use dynamic events makes code unnecessarily bloated when dealing with controls that expose large interfaces, not to mention the code to create the control itself.

National Instruments will not be implementing this idea. There is no further feature development planned for XControls.
