Error -307850 occured at Project Window.lvlib

Hello everybody,

I am working with VeriStand 2019 R2, when I startup my system for the first time I can normally deploy the project. If i have to stop and redeploy I get the following error:

NI VeriStand: A communication failure occurred while handshaking with the target.

Target: Controller
Error -307850 occured at Project Window.lvlib:Project Window.vi > > Project Window.lvlib:Command Loop.vi > > Project Window.lvlib:Connect to System.vi

Possible reason(s):

NI VeriStand: The target cannot be reached. Verify that the Ethernet cable is connected to the real-time (RT) target and that the target is enabled and running.

If i try to soft-reset the system i still get the same error lines, the only solution to this issues seems to be a RT hard-reboot (after which, the deployment actually works fine).

Can you help me understanding how to fix this annoying issue?

Are you undeploying or just closing a project? I have had issues trying to reconnect with VS still running on the RT.  If I just disconnect and make changes and then try to redeploy with VS still running on the RT I will get connection issues.

It seems similar to mine, but what happens if you soft-reset the RT target?
