NI-USRP 2943R - communication via Ethernet

Hi all,

I want to use LabVIEW (with USRP, FPGA kit) for programming a NI USRP 2943R.

I can communicate to the USRP via Ethernet (install current image, self calibration, ...) but the NI MAX cannot recognize the USRP via Ethernet.

Is it possible to control the USRP by LabVIEW via Ethernet?

Hi Andreas,

you can find all this information in the getting started manual of your device.

Under the section Programming the NI 294x you can find how to do it. We recommend to use the example projects. When using Ethernet you will not be able to programm the FPGA.

If you use Ethernet your device will not show up in MAX (page 12).
