sequence acquisition using window

Hello,

I have a NI USB-6366 device which I'm using with Signal Express 2015. What I'd like to do is the following:

measure current on a shunt resistor while a digital pin outputs high. I want a single measurement in the window during which the digital pin is high. How can i do this?

Hello,

By single measurement are you referring to non-continuous data(i.e 2 points for every digital high value)? I have not done too much with Signal Express but I think you can acquire the data and then organize it based upon application needs.

What i mean is the following:

-digital signal goes high

-start acquisition of analog signal

-keep acquiring analog signal

-digital signal goes low

-stop analog acquisition and fetch resulted data

Hopefully it is clear now

Sounds like you need to set a trigger. Have you looked at the Getting Started Guide? I linked the triggering section in that guide.

Hello,

Thank you for pointing me in the right direction. I solved it with 2 analog signals since you can trigger the report feature only on analog signal.
