advantech daq module

Hello,

 We are trying to run a lab for students at the University to use an Advantech USB-4711A. We are trying to use the DAQ module with a labviewSignalExpress2012 application (from examples: Simple Frequency Response Measurement). 

1- The problem is that at first when trying to see if the USB-4711A has been detected and listed in Measuremet & Automation Explorer, I cannot find it although I see it in my Hardware Manager. Why is that?

2- Can you please let me know how to make the attached labviewsignalexpress aquire a signal from my USB-4711A.

Hello,

The Advantech USB-4711A is not NI hardware and will not show up in NI Measurement & Automation Explorer (MAX). On Advantech's homepage there is a LabVIEW Driver. With that driver/API there might be a possibility that you can build LabVIEW VIs that you call from Signal Express.
