N5182A ,is there an option to perform remote choose of waveform segment ?

Hello all,

I am currently trying to create automatic environment using the N5182A agilent signal generator ,

Drivers were downloaded from NI web site ,LV (8.5) , it is communicated easily by LAN connection ,

My question is:if it is possible to perform waveform selection from the signal generator RAM by LV ?

Meaning perform the following manual scenario: Mode->Dual Arb->Select Waveform->waveform segement,

And then choosing the correct waveform , from LV.

Any suggestion ,will be welcomed.

Hi Doran,

I believe that the function you are referring to is addressed by the select waveform vi included with the driver.  You can find it in the folder for the driver, under \Agilent PSG MXG Series\Public\Action-Status.

Let me know if this does not answer your question, but if I am understanding it correctly, I believe that it should.
