Factory reset cRIO-9067 - Linux Part

Solved!
Go to solution

Hi,

I have to secure a cRIO-9067 with ANSSI and NATO recommandation for the GNU/Linux part of cRIO.

If I brick the cRIO, how I can do a full recovery of the cRIO's GNU/Linux part ?

Hi Marc-Henri,

Depending on how bricked it ends up, there are multiple ways to recover. If the CompactRIO still boots and is detected in MAX, then you can reinstall it in there, or use RAD to write an image you previously created.

If you are not able to detect it in MAX, even after long pressing the reset button to boot in safe mode, then long pressing it again to reset the network settings, I would advise to contact technical support, we will be able to provide further assistance. You can find contact information for your local branch here :

In any case, unbricking it will reset it to the default configuration, so if this is a long process, consider creating images regularly using RAD so you don't loose too much progress.
