data logging using DAQmx

Hello everyone,

                      I am using a PXI system with the SCXI modules for thermocouple data acquisition. I was able to make a VI using DAQmx read to acquire the temperature data for the required number of channels and display. I would like the acquired data to be stored in a measurement file for further analysis. Can somebody please help me with this so that I can create a VI for data logging.

Thank you very much for the reply, I have tried with tdms but faced some errors. It would be better if I could log the data into a text file. I have attached the daqmx program being used for acquisition with my PXI system. Can somebody help me with modifying my program for data logging into text format.
