failed to find analog waveform interface

In TestStand 2012 I try to run a LabView 2011 VI that returns a waveform. Configuration works fine, but when executing, it gives me an error -17801 "failed to find analog waveform interface" on that parameter.

I assume that this is a dependency problem, but I do not know what to look for.

What could I be mssing here?

Regards

Peter

Peter,

the error occurs on the development machine? Or does it only occur on deployment systems?

Can you create a simple example with the issue and post it here?

thanks,

Norbert

Hi,

please have a look at this knowledge base:

http://digital.ni.com/public.nsf/allkb/092121D4DE7F05A0862572C10075AAA7?OpenDocument

Within the link, there is a workaround. I hope it works.

Best Regards, Fabian

I'm currently having the same error code -17801. Do you have an active link?

Hello,

I am facing the same issue with the NI Teststand example.

C:\Users\Public\Documents\National Instruments\TestStand 2019 (64-bit)\Examples\Fundamentals\Using Data Streams\LabVIEW

The Knowledge base link mentioned in this thread is no longer available.

Can anyone help on this.

The given error might be related to a problem with registering the LabVIEW data types for TestStand. Did you uninstall any LabVIEW versions just recently?

You can try to either install LabVIEW again or do a repair on an existing LabVIEW installation using the NI Package Manager.
