Hello!

I try to connect microcircuit DAC7642-43, has collected the scheme under the instruction but why that on an exit of the scheme is not present a signal.
   Prompt that I do incorrectly?

Hi,

It looks like the component you chose is not simulatable. Many components in Multisim can be used in simulation, but many cannot. It is a lot of work to create simulation models for components and it is impossible to make every component work in simulation. Those that cannot not be simulated show up in green when you place it on your schematic and those that can be simulated show up in blue (but sometimes black as well). Another way to tell if a component is simulatable or not is by looking at the Model manuf./ID box when you place a component. If the box is empty or it has an item that says "GENERIC/EMPTY", then it is not simulatable. If it has one or more items in the box, then the component will work in simulation.

As an alternative to your problem, you can try the VDAC16 component in the ADC_DAC family. This component is a virtual component that doesn't exist in real life, but can perform simulations on it.

Hope that helps.

Thanks for the answer! The truth I am very disappointed that there is no real model digital analogue converter (DAC).
Whether there are additional bases of units?

Sorry, I didn't quite understand your question, can you rephrase it?

VDAC16 and IDAC16 are virtual models of the DAC. Whether there is a model of a real chip for modelling?

I don't believe we have a real simulatable DAC component. We may in the future, but this is a tricky model to create.
