Hello, Im a Electronics-ICT student and for a project I want to make a LED matrix, I've found a schematic (a picture) online I want to use, but they use a 74HC595 Shift Register and I can't seem to find this anywhere in the database. I've looked online but none of the post (there were 2 on this forum) really helped. So I hope anyone here can help me because I need the model to make a PCB design.
Best regards
Joe

Hi LocoRojo,
If you are struggling to find a Shift Register that you need to use I would suggest that you have a look at creating your own component:
Multisim: https://knowledge.ni.com/KnowledgeArticleDetails?id=kA03q000000YH5fCAG&l=en-US
Ultiboard: https://knowledge.ni.com/KnowledgeArticleDetails?id=kA03q000000YH7qCAG&l=en-US
You can associate one with the other. I would even go as far as suggesting looking at video tutorials available on YouTube. Although a long winded task for one component. I can guarantee it will come in handy if you ever have to do it again.
Kind Regards,
